Closed Sessions - Professional learning that increases educator effectiveness and results for all students occurs within collaborative learning communities committed to continuous improvement, collective responsibility, and goal alignment. These proposals involve specific teams of educators working around a specific grade or content level topic. For closed sessions, a presenter stipend (paid directly to a single presenter) is not paid.

• Writing Second-Grade ELA Common Assessment (second grade teachers only) – Kearney Elementary Computer Lab

• ACT Boot Camp (English II & III teachers ) - (Toole, Lohman, Salmonson, Mael, Fish, Lassiter) – High School Commons Computer Lab

• Middle School Math 7 (7th grade math team) – KMS, Room 106

• 5th Grade GLTL Curriculum Writing (5th Grade GLTL will complete Common Assessments) Kearney Elementary, Room B227

• Kindergarten Curriculum, Standards and Assessments Revisions - KJHS Room E-105, w/ Chromebooks

• Textbook/Curriculum Review (8th and 9th teachers will compare/critique math textbooks) - KJHS Room D-108, w/ Chromebooks

• 6th Grade Science Content Planning (6th grade science team, Cadd, Miller, and Mendel) - KMS Room 201

• GLTL Third Grade (Sessions are open to third grade GLTLs only)  - KJHS Room E-107 w/ Chromebooks

• 6th Grade Math Curriculum Work - KMS Library

• 7th Grade English/Language Arts – KMS - 7th Grade Computer Lab
