The Destiny library system has many useful tools to help teachers and librarians gather materials to integrate nonfiction books with the lessons already being taught in the classroom. The system has digital resource links that take the user directly to Common Core standards and available material. There is a resource list feature that teachers can use to put together a list of material for students to use for various assignments that can be accessed by all users, both at school and remotely. When searching for material, online resources can be accessed quickly and easily through the One Search feature. There are other tips and tricks that each librarian uses to guide research and innovative use of technology. We will also go over the many resources available online through Mid-Continent Public Library.
